Lesson
West opened 1H and heard East pass. Always a sad moment. South bid 2S. This was explained as showing a six card suit and a sound opening bid. This bid was described as being an intermediate bid. North bid 3NT and South judged to bid 4S. We will see if he was right shortly. West made the obvious lead of the ace of hearts (ace from AK). East played the four and South the nine. For starters, do you know if your king of hearts is a winner or is South ruffing it? Question: What is West's best shot for a setting trick, assuming there is one?
